Position Title: Private Tutor
 Pay Rate: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as School Program Staff (Private Tutors). This role supports the educational development of students through engaging programs and tutoring sessions.

The ideal candidate has a background in education, with experience in early childhood education, special education, or curriculum development (3 years preferred). Your day will include picking students up from school, transporting them to the learning center, and leading educational sessions.
Gas reimbursement is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement educational programs tailored to diverse student needs.

  • Provide individual and small-group tutoring in various subjects.

  • Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and integrate learning technology.

  • Facilitate interactive activities promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

  • Maintain a safe, nurturing environment in compliance with childcare regulations.

  • Pick up students from school and bring them to the education center (return trips possible).

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning.

  • Familiarity with learning technology tools that enhance instruction.

  • Prior tutoring or educational support experience strongly preferred (3 years ideal).

  • Must be able to transport children safely; gas reimbursement is provided.

  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and coworkers.

  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, positive learning environment for diverse learners.

  • Ability to work collaboratively while showing initiative and creativity.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
